Bucket head thinking

2018-01-11 Thread Daniel Santos
How about "the stranger in town" that everyone thought was a foreign spy or
from outer space,The grifter guy who cheated everyone out of their money to dig
for treasure, the man who recorded the folk album. The gold truck technically
not a person but an event that made the whole town nuts, the Hollywood
director. All I can think of right now.

Alumni sightings

  Alumni Sightings

Well I'm cat sitting for a friend, and watching The Doris Day Show reruns (
69-73) on her Amazon prime subscription. I'm well into the fourth season. I
just had to write and say there are so many Mayberry characters, I don't
know where to begin. I haven't been keeping a list, but here are four I can
immediately recall.

Howard
The Indian Elixir man
Romena Whiley
Mr Darling

If you like Doris Day, you may like this show. The cast changes over the
series and her image changes, but its still good.

[no subject]

2018-01-11 Thread kel4par

Since it has been s cooold, I've been thinkin about Mayberry and all
the folks that passed through. Especially those who innocently got the
whole town in an uproar, like Ellen Brown and the shoe salesman. Not the
ones who dealt mostly with one or two people, the whole town. Who else
visited Mayberry for an episode and then left?

Ed Sawyer created some havoc.

2018-01-11 Thread Ben Currin
Had a wonderful Christmas here in Mayberry (Mt Airy) , and spent a lot of
the day with Betty (Thelma Lou) Lynn. It's always great to hear her little

Gypsies in Mayberry

I bet if Andy would have slipped those Gypsies a quarter they would have
removed the curse.
One thing about Gypsies. They sure are moody.
