Well, I kind of hesitate to say this, but Clara played a naughty scrabble in
the 70's movie Foul Play with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase

Many of you know that I am an avid tournament Scrabble player. I'm also a
member of the committee that compiles The Official Scrabble Players
Dictionary, and this committee is just beginning work on the next (5th)
edition of this book. What we do is, we search through certain college-level
dictionaries to find new words that have recently entered the English
language.
Anyway, each member of the committee is assigned a specific section of the
dictionary, and I was assigned N to R. Trained noticers will remember that
when Barney Fife joined the Raleigh Police Department, he was put in charge
of a portion of the fingerprint records, namely N to R.
Perhaps this is one of those things beyond the ken of mortal man that
shouldn't be tampered with.

P.S. Can anyone tell me who in Mayberry is known to play an occasional game
of Scrabble?
