Paul Mulik
Hey Paul, I must be a novice trained noticer. I noticed your enumerations of the episodes with Aunt Bee's young picture in them. I loved it but have you been nippin the Mulberry squeezins? FIDDLE TUNE
Of course I should have waited for Paul's explanation. I knew he would have the definitive answer. Thanks Paul!! ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

alumni sighting
Last night we were watching "Wagon Train" on the Encore Western channel and pleasantly surprised to see Aunt Bee as a "nun". Frances Bavaier was a wonderful actress in this dramatic role. ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
[no subject]
Hey Chuck, (I hope it's ok to call you by your first name) I was there too. It was one of only a couple times all the Dillards were at an event. That was really special for me. I had all of them sign one of my "jugs" (which I have now retired that jug). Everybody on the truck!! Bob "Briscoe" Mundy Message: 4 Date: Thu, 3 Feb 2011 20:59:58 -0500 From: "chuck talley" To: Subject: Hoosier Cabinets Message-ID: <63147FE76C6C4142A4CB5ADA6482DE59@mayberrydelight> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" All the talk about Hoosier Cabinets actually reminded me of Indiana - Hoosiers. In 2004, Mayberry In The Midwest III was held in New Castle, Indiana (Hoosiers) and it was a very good Mayberry Cast Reunion. There were so many cast members there that they had to use some adjoining towns to hold the autograph sessions. I really wanted to see her and get Maggie Peterson Mancuso's autograph (Charlene Darling) so we drove a short distance to Knightstown, Ind. where she was in the Hoosier Gym - Home of the Hickory Huskers. For the non - basketball fans, this is the gym where they filmed the movie "Hoosiers" and it was exactly like in the film, which remains one of the better sports films of all time. I did get Charlene's autograph (she was absolutely delightful) and a picture of me taking a basketball shot which I made. It was a lay up. Not only were the stars there, but a whole host of tribute artists were there including "Barney", "Otis"," Goober"," Opie", "Howard", "Ernest T" and "Floyd", ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
PBS SIGHTING
I was watching a program on our local PBS tv station last night and was suprised to see what seemed to be one of our favorite mystery characters. The show was "Jeff Beck"s Tribute to Les Paul." The man playing the upright bass sure looked like noneother than our Mr Schwamp. Curios, Curios! OVERALLS
I can't believe no one thought of Briscoe. He always wore overalls sometimes with a nice suit jacket over them and a shirt and tie (as in Mountain Wedding - one of my personal "favorites"). Re: no-show at Mayberry Cafe
Hey Joe Gritton, You will always be a "figment" to me. You are my literary "hero". Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the Mayberry Cafe as well when David Browning and his lovely wife Patty were there. I love them both so much! I had to work both Friday and Saturday nights so I was snoring worse than those "Darling Boys" when the festivities were going on. "Briscoe" and the "Mayor" were both there but incognito (or under cover). Briscoe said everyone had a good time!! Hope we can get the gang together again before too long. Until then, "lots of luck to you and your's" Briskette aka Pat Mundy ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
HOOSIER GET-TOGETHER
We are planning a get together at the Mayberry Cafe in Danville, Indiana on Dec. 5th around 12 noon. Any hoosiers (or anyone else) who would like to join us come on over!! Tim "Goober" Pettigrew and Eric "Mayor Pike" along with myself Bob "Briscoe" Mundy will be there in character. No Tim is not a Hoosier but he will be an honorary one for that day. Any one else who wants to come as any character would just add to the fun. If you can come please let me know so I have a rough count on how many will be there. Thanks!! MT AIRY
A while back some were talking about things to see or do in Mt Airy. I don't remember seeing any post about "Mayberry on Main". It's a great shop just across the street form "The Snappy Lunch" and "Floyd's". It is run by the Mile's who are the proud parents of our own manicurist Samantha "Ellen Brown" Miles. They have quite a variety of products. I particularly enjoyed the ice cream. If you like "Hot Sauce" they have the biggest selection I've ever seen. It's "BIG"!! Stop by and tell 'em hey from Briscoe. Everybody on the Truck, Bob "Briscoe" Mundy ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
re:Barney & Liqour
One of my favorites is Barney and the Govenor when Otis "spikes" the water crock. not only does Barney get smashed so does the Mayor. That show also includes one of my favorite phrases "Bless--- his- Heart". "Your heart was shaped in a bowl", Briscoe Bob Mundy - Catch up on fall's hot new shows on Yahoo! TV. mayberry sightings
This may have been mentioned before but I noticed a couple of Tags alumni in the movie "Sixteen Candles" yesterday-- Edward Andrews (Prof. Hubert St.John--Aunt Bee's suitor) and Max Showalter aka Casey Adams (Ralph Mason-- The Man who bought the cannon ). They played the two Grandfathers. I didn't watch the whole movie but noticed these two. Everybody on the truck, Briscoe Bob Mundy - How low will we go? Check out Yahoo!
