I have a silly question. Watching the Horse Trader, in Ellie's drug store there is an ice cream sign on the wall behind the counter advertising: DICED CREAM. My question is, what is diced cream? -- It must be that new checkerboard ice cream that just came out in 1964 according to this article. Diced Cream
I have watched The Horse Trader episode countless times and noticed something new today for the first time. There is a sign in Walker's Drugstore advertising Diced Cream. I have never noticed this before nor do I know anything about diced ice cream. I googled it and found an old ad for it. Apparently it was a new thing in ice cream introduced in the late '40's and it came in squares. The ad said it was the newest thing in ice cream. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard about diced cream or has actually tasted it? I am guessing it wasn't on the market very long.
