One of my favorite Don/Andy moments on Matlock was a bit of dialog that went something like this (and I have to paraphrase: Les (Don) to Matlock (Andy): You know we are a lot alike, you and me. Don joined the MATLOCK cast in season 3, and did occasional guest shots thru season 6. Most of his appearances were in season 3.
