Hey from Mount Pilot ! You might want to try hotels /motels in Pilot Mountain NC(7 min from Mt Airy), Stuart Va (it's only 30 min to Mt Airy and a lovely drive) . King NC (20 Min straight up the highway): Rural Hall NC (25 min up the highway) Even Winston Salem NC is only 30 min.( try for hotels near University Parkway, more reasonably priced) Highway 52 is the main Road coming into Mt.
