2013-05-16 Thread Janet Anderson
As to Mayberry foods, I haven't yet seen mentioned Thelma Lou's homemade peach
ice cream that she was going to serve to Opie along with her brownies.

Oh, and has anyone mentioned the apple crumb pie that Helen was bringing to the
picnic in Barney and the Cave Rescue?

Mayberry Foods

2013-05-14 Thread Dan Goodwin
Mike was talking about Mayberry foodslet's not forget Hoot Owl Pie. On
another food note, I was watching Those Gossiping Men this morning. When
Wilburn Finch first appears, he comes into the drug store for a root beer.
Aunt Bee and Emma are sitting there having coffee and what appears to be
lunch. Don't know of any other instance where you could get anything at the
drug store except soda fountain items.

I also looked up Jack Finch who played shoe salesman extraordinaire, Wilbur
Finch. IMDB only lists a total of 12 career appearances. I wonder what his
story is? Stage actor, part-time actor, moved behind the camera in some
capacity, sold cars? Makes you wonder.

Mayberry Foods

2007-08-23 Thread Anthony Sizemore

Thank you very much, Mr. Allan and HQ for the insight on patronizing the
food line from Mayberry's Finest.
I agree that since it is entirely produced and packaged in the USA, we
should try it and if it is real god, support it whole heartedly.
Mighty democratic of us, huh?
I also agree the world needs more Mayberry; but I tend to hold to my opinion
that Mayberry doesn't need more of the world. Especially the illegal part of
it.

Best wishes to you and yours.
