Miss Rosemary played the sweetest most demure young lady who Barney took to church every Sunday. I'm revealing a tongue in cheek alumni sighting of her bit part in "Golden Girls." She played a hilarious, yet most irreverend mourner who kicked the casket of a nasty neighbor. I found out the actresse's real name by thumbing through my newly arrived "TAGS" book. YAY. Watched our Miss Rosemary (Amzie Strickland) on the Big Valley today. She played a inmate at a asylum where Victoria Barkley was sent when she witnessed a murder. It must have filmed within a few years of her appearance on TAGS. I knew it was her right away, even though her hair was messed up and she was out of her right mind. Barney beginning to date Thelma Lou and left Miss Rosemary, must have been her downfall, she didn't seem to stable in the first place. Someone recently asked about what happened to Miss Rosemary. Well, she moved to Mayfield. Beaver got a job mowing her lawn in the episode I watched today. She must like living in towns that begin with May. She could come to Eau Claire and be my neighbor here on May Street. I wonder if she May get here in time to celebrate May Day so I can get her some May flowers. Of course, three years later in the episode "Barney's First Car" it's implied that he has never owned a car. As for Miss Rosemary doing the tailoring, remember this was a very early episode, and at this point in the series, Aunt Bee had only been living with Andy for a few weeks. Rosemary was probably dropping off work that Andy had given her a long time ago; he obviously was not in a big hurry to get it back (did you ever see him wear a "judging coat"?
