Parfumes

Last week we had an accident at the super market. Guy in the back room was
moving a huge pallet stacked with jars of dill pickles when they all fell
off and smashed onto the cement floor. Now I don't know about Midnight
Madness, but those pickles could be smelled throughout the entire super
market for several hours. A few weeks ago a guy was bagging his own
groceries when he dropped a large bottle of brandy and it broke when it hit
the floor. Now you could really smell that. In fact half the employees in
the store that day came up to the front and offered to lick it up but
manager said no as he was afraid they would all cut their tongues on the
broken glass.

I, too thought it strange that Opie and his friend didn't smell any perfume
when the bottle broke. But I figured if they did notice, it would have
ruined the entire plot! They would have simply told the owner and it would
have been the end of the episode! Erego, it is just television! I still
love the show, film flubs and all!

Parfumes

2011-01-24 Thread Daniel Santos

I sent this post previously from my phone, but I don't think it got thru anyway
I didn't see it. On the episode "Opie's Drugstore Job" season 8, Opie broke a
$64 GIANT bottle of parfume or supposed parfume. Shouldn't he and his friend
have noticed there was no smell from the broken bottle. The store should have
positively reeked. Just one of those things that make you go hm.
