Barney mispronouncing apathy was in the opening scene of The Bank Job, one of my favorite episodes. On a side note, a few weeks ago, the word apathy appeared on my daughter's list of spelling words for the week. I had her go through the list and say the words to make sure she knew what they were. Sure enough, when she reached apathy, she put the accent on the second syllable, just like Barney did! After I corrected her, I told her that she was in good company--that Barney had done the same thing! Barney mispronounces the word apathy at the very beginning of The Bank Job while he is talking to Andy about going to see the Glen Ford movie. Orville Hendricks - The Butter and Egg Man. I have all of Barney's funny routines memorized, and in which episode they appeared.
