Without question, the best song ever sung on the show has to be Church in the Wildwood - sung on the porch by Andy while Mr. Tucker relaxed (sort of). What a beautiful representation of everything Mayberry stands for. I had never heard it until I saw this scene. To this day it is one of my favorites - especially Tennessee Ernie Ford's rendition.
