I was watching the final season of the show and on the episode where someone 
leaves the church $500 I noticed the church had changed it's name.  The pastor 
was the same, but when they were leaving the church after a meeting the name of 
the church was shown on the sign outside.  It was no longer All Souls Church.  
Just an observation.

I have always assumed All Souls Church was the one attended by the Taylors and 
the other
main characters.Last night I saw everyone exiting another church.The name of 
the church on
the sign was Community Church.This was the episode where a member passed away 
and bequeathed
the church $500.00.
 
Any thoughts on this?

churches and weddings

Well, the Darling-Wash wedding was outside of the family home. And the 
wedding on the Family Feud episode was not in the church, but in Andy's 
living room.  I don't know if this counts, but if you go outside of TAGS 
just a little to Mayberry RFD, Andy and Helen were married in the church. 
Don't know of any church weddings on TAGS right off the top of my head, tho.
