Hi, gang!! We will be leaving in the morning for Hi-wa-yer. We are going to Honolulu and spending most of the time there, but on June 4 we will take a flight to Midway Island for the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Midway, turning point of the War in the Pacific. That was my favorite duty station while in the Navy and this July 19 will mark 50 years since I arrived on that little island!! Have a Mayberry time while we are gone and I will be back on with you after our trip. We will be back June 9 but it may take a couple days to get in the swing of things and get back on.
