[wdvltalk] [OT] remote connections?
Ello... I'm on site this week (I work at home normally) and I'm using remote XP to connect to my home pc to pick up code samples etc, FTPing them to my server, and then picking them up here, in the office.. bt... I'd love to be able to connect to my home, via windows explorer is this possible? I've tried: \\123.123.123.123\myComputerName\shareName\ (I've got several PC's on my home IP) but it doesn't work...? Do I need to open up a specific port on my router at home, or is this just not possible..? It'd just make copying files to theoffice ALOT easier!! ;-p Thoughts?
