Firefox is again aping the Sorcerer's Apprentice, and re-opening with more windows than it had when it closed. Then I solved it by taking all the add-ons out of Thunderbird, and have abandoned Thunderbird (it is still on the machine but has no extensions of its own).

I found 'Down them all' was in my extensions though I don't recall downloading it. I find there are 31 extensions on the list and I have just disabled 'email notifier', 'down them all' and 'AJAX Yahoo'. Does anyone know of this strange behaviour and what the right corrective is?
