Diane, I don't see an answer or I just missed it. You can ban in Win2K using Administrative Tools | Internet Information Manager. Right click the Default Web Server (or whatever server you are using), select Properties and then the Directory Security tab. Under IP address and domain name restriction select Edit. Select ADD and put in the appropriate information. Is there something similar DS for Win 2K? yep. in iis you want to view the properties for the site and go to directory security and click the edit button for ip access and domain name restrictions. make sure all machines are allowed access except for the ip address you add in the box. non of the pages should be displayed to any user from that ip address. hth, darren.
