[wdvltalk] Re: OT - Survey Results are in - WAS Domain namesurvey - Pls help!
Guys, I know you're gonna kill me for this. Anyways, I got only 13 votes, 1 was my own, 2 were from my colleagues at work. So, technically, I got only 10 votes from ALL of my own friends, and the WDVL group. Very disappointed. But hope floats ;-) I finally decided on the following name: -> 1SiteAutomation.com That must have been something coming up late on the outside rail - I don't even recall it being on the list when I voted. Are your bets covered by having OneSiteAutomation.com registered too on this? I'm sure there's a need for a research paper on Psycholinguistics of Domain Names :-) Franni The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To set a personal password send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words: "set WDVLTALK pw=yourpassword" in the body of the email. Franni, I thought Psycholinguistics was killing with words. (stabbed him with a sharp phrase; know where he'll put this ampersand; missed him - it was a passsed participle.) Joseph- This is going rapidly [OT] ! I'll put my other hat on here : if I was going to point you to a key person in this field locally it'd be David Good at Cambridge University http://www.sps.cam.ac.uk/stafflist/dgood.html ... an absolute gem of a guy. Great lecturer, great teacher, plus writes a damn good research paper. Franni Franni, I thought Psycholinguistics was killing with words. Franni, That's a lot of seriously serious stuff. The state and co-ercion thing looks appropriate in the modern world. I am reminded of the late Victor Borge and his unique take on punctuation.
