I'm modifying the SQLFORM.grid console to include a rows per page selector. 
It seems like a natural thing to have there.

I have some questions about the code that builds the search widget. 

Near line 2153 I find this:
                search_widget = lambda sfield, url: *CAT(*FORM(
                    INPUT(_name='keywords', _value=request.vars.keywords,
                          _id=skeywords_id, ...

Why call CAT() here? Wouldn't DIV() do the same thing?

Near line 2163 there is this:
            form = search_widget and search_widget(sfields, url()) or ''
What does this line of code do?
