Looks like a major UI revamp is rolling out across big G's landscape.

Too bad for people like me stuck with poor bandwidth, we'll make do with the 
old interface for now.

Yeah, they're rolling out that new design to all their apps -- Gmail, 
Calendar, etc. It sounds like they're planning to add Q&A functionality 
(like Stackoverflow) to Google Groups as well

which could be very useful for us.
