If you run one of:
- nginx
- lighttpd
- cherockee
- apache httpd + mod_scgi

I suggest to use SCGI is light, fast and requires very little config.
Look at the file scgihandler.py in web2py root.

web2py provides a file cgihandler.py to interface to CGI.

If still in doubt, use google:

http://web2py.com/AlterEgo/default/show/93

(As far as I understand, a cgi program expects input via stdin, and
sends output to stdout,
but I'm by no means an expert)

Stefaan.

Freak,

which one?
a) you want to run CGI inside web2py?
b) you want to run web2py as CGI?

Running web2py under CGI will result in more headaches then running is
in proxy mode.
