I am trying to workout the installation problem with HostGator, who
unfortunately only supports Python 2.4 at the moment. I understand that I
should go with 2.5 and need to take the risk to do it myself on just
purchased VPS from them.
Are there somewhere good instructions how to install version 2.5 with all
needed components to make sure all works as expected (Python 2.5, MySQL,
web2py)?
Also, how do I chose what distribution model to use on a linux box? What
does it depend on?
