If you do not specify a fetch limit, you can probably sort in memory...

You can use 'blobDictionary' or 'stringDictionary' prototype. Everything
should be handled automatically. Be aware that you also need
ERAttributeExtension.framework for this.

you can serialize it into a property list string and back.

there may even be a “transformable” on the modeler, I can’t recall but likely
you can write a transformer to read and write to and from a string which
would work just fine I think.

 make sense?

Hi Pascal,
You could consider the JBoss Drools Framework, or, if you want to implement
more complex processes, jBPM.
http://www.jboss.org/jbpm
http://www.jboss.org/drools/
JBPM comes with a nice Eclipse plugin that even lets you define the process as
a nice flowchart and hook it up to your Java code.
Advantage: the rules and the process model can be changed without redeploying
the app, you just change the file and call a refresh method to read it.
I am currently using this for validation rules in an online shop that needs
frequent modifications of those rules.
It's a piece of cake to integrate this into a WO app. All you need to do is add
some Jars to your project.
I have built a little test Project as a proof of concept. Let me know if you
would like the source. If more people are interested, I might write a Wiki
page...

Cheers,
Ralph

Hi guys,

In a shopping cart, how would you apply discount based on business rules? For
example, if someone buy a quantity of 3 of the same item, you apply discount X,
or if an item is ordered before a certain date, you apply discount Y. Yes, I
can do that all in code, but that's not very flexible.

Any ideas?

Hi all,Thanks Chuck, I was wrong. This is my mistake I put t8=id_cosecha= 1

Ah! the X is just an alias for the subquery.

I don't see a missing right parenthesis, I don't know why you are getting

 Hi Oscar,

Try looking at the values for these:
 getSessionIDForRequest(context().request())
 existingSession()
 context().request().cookies()

Do you see the wosid cookie? Does it have the right session ID in it?

Hi Theodore,

I agree with George, I wouldn't do the
Session way.

Worman set you on the right track. Ok,
it didn't fully give you the solution but it pointed you where to look.

The EOEditingContext knows all. It knows
what the current values are (just invoke methods on the EO itself) it also
knows what the last saved values are (just look at the snapshot
cache using the EC and the EO).

You see? So that method Worman pointed
you to just gave you the new changed values. Ok, but dig under the covers
of that method. It's open source right? (unlike Apple's code). Learn how
to navigate the snapshot cache. That method must be able to find the old
values right? Otherwise how can it pump out the new values of only the
modified attributes?

Think of the EC as a bolus of
work. It does everything you were trying to reinvent with your Session
plus more. Use the EC to its fullest. It knows past and present at the
same time. Nothing else is needed. willUpdate is a reasonable
place to put the logic you seek, keep it all in the model, and work cleanly
with D2W.

Cheers,

For me, I'd say you're going at this the wrong way within the Session..

Keep the session clean.

Check out Paul Yu's recommendation re: ERXGenericRecord and ERXEnterpriseObject.
And, write a controller to manage the object you're editing, do your
work, and let it provide you with the appropriate feedback for your email.

If you installed JDK 6 (1.6) using the Oracle RPM, you should have it installed
correctly.

Use this command either as root or via sudo to change the active version:
alternatives --config java

I had it running on CentOS 5 just fine for the last year or so.

Good luck

the weird thing is that after installing java 1.6, I do a java -version and
the answer is java version 1.4.2,

You probably have the 1.4 JVM from GNU, which is total crap (remove it with yum

use alternatives to specify which JVM you want (alternatives will simply
install symlinks so that /usr/bin/java points to your desired JVM).

I don't know is this for having the wrong version of the jdk.

Problem with multiple aplication

2011-03-09 Thread Oscar González

Hi,I have two applications on the same server, each application connects to a
different data base. The two applications work for different companies. Some
users can access information on both companies. My problem is that some times a
user is working on one application (the application for one company), then
closes that application and access the second application (the application for
the other company), what happens is that he continues seeing data from the
first application, this is, the application from the first company. I don't
know how this happens. Can be this a session issue? if it is, how can I be sure
that the editing context is connected to the right application at the time?
Saludos,Oscar ___

Or, if you can, try JAX-WS. It's included in JDK 6 and more pleasant to work
with than Axis.

If it's 5.3, Axis 1.1 is not really good at working with .Net or Axis

remove the JavaXML framework for your app and use Axis 1.4 directly in your
app, less pain for you.
Hi list,I'm try to connect to a web service developed in .NET, I'm can get the
wsdl and it's list operations via the browser. But, when I try to get it via WO
with WOWebServiceClient, I got this warningsNov 26 09:39:19 TecLogistica[61751]

operations
(serviceClient().operationsDictionaryForService(serviceName())).allValues() I
got an empty array. If I'm try to invoke an operation
serviceClient().invoke(serviceName(), operation, arguments);WO throws me an
exceptionError: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No operation named

I'm appreciate any help.
