Hi Ahmad,

I believe the mailinglist us...@global.libreoffice.org would be the better
choice for asking your question. This list here is really more about
questions and discussions about our website itself and not for answering
user questions about the program. Also, please be aware, that all our
mailinglists don't allow attachments. If you want to show a screenshot that
shows your problem, you will have to upload this image somewhere on the web
and then just post a link to the image in the email, so that other users
can go there and have a look at it.

It doesn't need knowledge in coding. I need some help with admin tasks.
You have to know how to manage e.g. user accounts, read system error
messages and give the user / contributor some help with creating a
project or uploading files. There are also some general questions about
using LibreOffice in the queue that should be handled.

This description looks like I could help you with that too. I have some
experience with handling user accounts with Plone (as you will know)
and I am sure that I can give answers to some general LibreOffice questions
as well.

[libreoffice-website] numbered lists on the website

I would like to be changed:

Since the numbered list is created with the ol /ol tags, I'd like
to ask to change the CSS in such a way, that the numbers are at the
same level as the headings and text.

To show better what I mean another illustration:

A lot of Distros and configuration doesn't show the Distro, so, why RPM?

Because those that do, are debian based.

Clearly, my user agent doesn't state the distro either, and mine isn't
deb-based. :)

 As

 What statistics please?

 so let put the
 default the DEB one.

Even if overall downloads would be more deb than rpm, then those with
unknown system would be rpm in majority, as debian rebrands firefox,

 usually don't.

I don't mind having the script default to deb, as long as I have the

thing I saw was a message that this page does not exist and I was
asked, if I want to create this page.

Well .. this is the way how wikis work. If you don't find the content,
then you are free to add it ;)

Yeah, I know, that this is how Wikis work. The only thing I wasn't
sure about is, *how* am I supposed to create a new page? Just by
editing the URL? I have seen other wikis that have a link in the menu
bar that is named create site / content (or whatever one thinks,
that fit here) you click on it and you get a new blank page. You then
can add it to the different categories it should belong to.
And I know other wikis that require that you add a link to an
existing page. If you click then on this link, you can edit and modify
the page. So, another different way to create a page. ;)

[libreoffice-website] How to navigate the Wiki?

Hi,

first, I hope I am at the right place here, if not, just tell me and I

So, here comes my question:

Can someone explain to me, how I can navigate the wiki? I don't think,
that I'm illiterate when it comes to browsing the web, but I can't find
anything in the wiki. The only thing I regular get is the main site
(no surprise!). Other content, like the tasks or the documentation page
I can only access, when I have the direct link from the email that was
sent to the list. I can't find the tasks page from the main site.

So, am I doing something wrong? If so, how can I get to this page
without the direct link? Any help is appreciated.

Btw, I have to point out, that I find the OOowiki also very difficult
to navigate and find pages mostly by accident. ;)
