It is not always easy to recognize if the content is in foreign language. I was just insulted by an esparanto contributor as I moved a page about eo-extensions from EO to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Extensions/eo although it was about specialties around esperanto. He could be convinced to expand his page with some translation from the en page. The zsync page mentioned above is also such an example. It deals only with the german CD/DVD distribution (LibreOfficeBox) In my opinion we should keep the number of pages under the language namespaces as low as possible. It is easier to find things if they are in the multilangual structure. For ODF-Templates whe should create category named ODF-Templates. To avoid confusion, I suggest calling the main category for templates as Wikipedia Templates. Sorry, I have to put veto on that. Two reasons: 1. We are just sharing the same software with Wikipedia, which is called MediaWiki. So the name is not correct. 2. We should keep the Template for use on wiki-templates as this is the standard on all MediaWikis, and to keep the entry level at height for new editors. (We have seen some really bad editings with the old one) Silverstripe on the other hand is equipped with a WYSIWYG-editor and I think this is very helpful there to attract people to work on the content. I still do not see the WYSIWYG-editor as absolutely necessary and a blocker for using the mediawiki further on if we do not have it. For the Netherlands, there are two LibreOffice download mirrors, the
ftp.nluug.nl mirror and the mirrors.supportex.net mirror.
The NLUUG mirror works just excellent (as do all other European and World
mirrors that I tried), but not(!) the Supportex mirror.
When http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ redirects the Dutch user not to
the NLUUG mirror but to the Supportex mirror, or when the Supportex mirror
is chosen from the mirrorlist page (via Get details (md5sum,...)), a very
peculiar download behavior occurs. It then takes a long(!) time till finally
the Internet Explorer download manager popup window ('Run/Save/Cancel')
appears, offering the download.
First I thought the download wasn't offered at all (while nevertheless there
was all kind of network, anti-virus, HDD and CPU action), but recently I
found out that when you wait a long(!) time the download is finally offered
with the IE download manager to pop up.
The LibreOffice download from the Supportex mirror is the only(!) download I
ever encountered that shows that strange kind of download behavior.

for re-establishment of the download.
Maybe this causes the problem.
Would be nice if the mirrror admin can step in here.

Hi, CCing Andreas 2011/10/30 webmaster for Kracked Press Productions webmas...@krackedpress.com: I was looking at some of the templates on the LO template site. Many of the one I looked at download with no extension. Ubuntu/Firefox stated that they were .bin files. The file manager shows then as OOo files of different types, like the .otx files. Also the Hebrew Dictionary does not have an extension as well. So is there some problems here? Do I have to add the proper template file extension to get them to install or open correctly? Look at the Blue half circle and the Green half circle Presentation templates. Also the LibreOffice Presentation template, plus others. Tell me what am I to do with these non-extension files. Now it seems to start again: Since 2011-09-30 I found 12 spamming pages. I requested them for deleting. Now there are images on the pages. These are requested for deleting, too. We should have a look for the next time on all new pages. The spam pages seem to be inserted manually and so a fast deletion maybe will disturb them. The existing wiki pages are linked and bookmarked at numerous places in the www and we shouldn't annoy anybody by destroying the actual existing informations. We have not much spam as in the earlier stages of the wiki. The bots can't solve the captcha and the real person spammers are usually identified in very short timeframes, therefore don't come back.
