There is no test scenario. It needs only volunteers with curiosity and a
user perspective from a contributor of new tempslates or extensions.
What's working for a new contributor and what should be improved (in
 which way).

ok. I still think reaching out to the social networks to call for
testers could be helpful, but I leave this at your discretion, of course.

Things I remember from the past were:

 1. Errors with special characters (e.g. Umlaute) that led to error
messages. Is this fixed in the current version?

I've not seen such issues yet. But the search is not complete in place yet.

I tested with title with special characters and everything went fine.

 2. The design. Reaching out to the design team might make sense indeed.

Yes, because I'm not a webdesigner ;-)

I don't have further details, sorry for that.

That would not mean all tests has been passed ;-)

I worked on some new issues the whole day and got also the search form
to work on my local machine. Changes are committed to the TDF-repository
at github.

Regards,
Andreas

 Hi,

I think that the prototype site would most benefit from an
analysis/proposal by the http://user-prompt.com/ like the ones they
do
 on their blog:
 http://user-prompt.com/portfolio/libreoffice/ (that get published

 on the Planet site).

They could analyse/propose the main page designs, especially:
 - both template and extensions site home page;
 - particular extension/template page with its tabs;

That would mean an independent professional assessment of the current
design and a proposal to go further.

Plus, I think that actual discussion about the extensions website
should in this phase be moved to the UX list (and return to this list
as soon as the final design is decided upon and it needs to be
 implemented, tested etc.).
I'm not subscribed to that mailing-list. I could help with technical
things on the website, but would not take part in the UX discussion
itself.

If you want to forward the topic to the UX list, please do so. I tried
with the design-list with no success some weeks ago.

I confirm what Andreas wrote. I asked the design team twice about helping us
with setting up a contest but it seems there's no cycle left for that. I'd be
glad to get some help on this though so user-prompt or design contest, I am in!

Best,

Charles.

thanks a lot for your work on this!

Is there a concrete test scenario we can make use of?
Does it make sense that e.g. Charles spreads the news on the social media?

Thanks,
Florian
