additional information: the test website is up again. You could reach it at:

If you want to volunteer for testing, please drop me an email.

the extensions-testsite is down again. I can't even reach VM141.

Thus I couldn't upgrade the site with my last changes of the addon and
receive further feedback. I pushed my last changes to the TDF repo on
github in the meantime.

no worries. If you want to start that process, please go ahead.

I could assist with technological questions and setup an account or a
new instance for testing a / another prototype.

Re: [libreoffice-website] New Design for LibreOffice Extensions and Templates Site

2015-02-23 Thread Martin Srebotnjak
Hi, Andreas,

I guess it would be best now to cross-post this news/call in the LO
design mailing list as this seems to be the point at which the
designers should jump in (now that you made it up and running and need
the design input).

It should probably be in the lines of the main LO website design so
designers of that should be asked first, I guess.

Hope this helps,
m.

I currently did the necessary steps. Both instances are up and running.
Only the cron jobs are not in place.

I'll update the site with buildout to incorporate my last code changes
from github tomorrow.

seemed that the appropriate cron scripts are missing. I changed the
setting some weeks ago, because I needed a zeoserver with two instances
and not only a single instance (the second instance is in debug-mode for
development.

If you want to fire the sites up, you need first to stop the instance
(you already fired up). Then start with './bin/zeoserver start' the
server. Afterwards fire up './bin/instance start' the first instance
(you could also do first a 'fg' instead of 'start'. If fg
(foreground/debug-mode) runs fine, you can kill it with ctrl + c and
fire it up again with 'start'. Once instance is running you could run
start on instance2.

Thanks for jumping in!!!

Because of the infra issues this site is currently not available. I
don't know yet when it will be back again.

I worked a bit further on the Diazo theme and the code for the new
extension site addon. This work is available on github.com/tdf too, but
could not be tested online.

The Diazo theme with the HTML- and CSS-files are available on
https://github.com/tdf/libreoffice-ext-templ-website

I added some smaller fixes/additions there. Feel free to check it out
and work on the HTML/CSS.
