alt.fp.o is still not live and we are working on it. I hope we can get on
it in time, as it's scheduled for F25 GA. Strings are not correct right
now, so pushing them to zanata would only make you work, probably for
 nothing.

Once we have the first final strings I'll open the the document in zanata.
At that point I will also let you know through the ML you can start with
translations. (the strings you see are just a test)

I guess we can reclose this ticket then. Or?

The last POT update was 3 weeks ago, that should contain all the new
strings. I pushed it again for getfedora.org right now, can you look and
eventually tell us which strings you are missing?

All the other websites (spins, arm and labs) we updated for Alpha/Beta had
the string changes in the last commit, so they should be already ok.

It maybe done for website site, but it didn't reach translators.

Can you please send us the stings so we translate it?

Sorry to reopen this ticket, I haven't found any other.

F25 Alpha branch has been created now, but please keep all the work for
alt.fp.o on its dedicated alt-rewrite branch (will probably need updates
 before merging it back).

Nope, we will keep it as it is now. Checksum files might change and we
want to be flexible for any kind og last minute changes. From a UIX POV
the screenshot is not really a good solution, IMHO.

Let's concentrate on the task for now, but thanks for your attempt to
 improve our pages ;)

 I have a question.
Though "verify" button's destination page is a common one page,
why many "verify" buttons are there?

In the future (but not now), I think that its "verify" buttons should will
 be merged to few buttons.

 As well "arm" page. ( https://arm.fedoraproject.org/ )

We are starting a new release cycle (Alpha release is planned for august
23th), and we will have some important changes. I'm not sure how the state
of art is of the new media downloader, and also if it also should serve
prerelease images; in case we need to rewrite all our major download links
 (see #384)

On the other hand we should finalize alt.fedoraproject.org (see
https://alt.stg.fedoraproject.org) with subpages for secondary arches.
Would be nice to get it done and start with F25 Alpha.

The other stuff needs to be tested very well, we had a lot of errors for
F24 final release because the paths changed heavily and we couldn't know
that. Please refer to the actual final release to see how things changed
 in the meanwhile.

Atomic has become a chapter for itself, we should get soon in touch with
cloud WG to see what they are planning and how they want to get out the
two week images this time. The most probable scenario is that we won't
have atomic images for prerelease again.

 * Create F25 Alpha branch
 * update globalvariables to F25 Alpha
 * Add Alpha banner
 * Check all Download links and paths
 * Add CHECKSUM files to static/checksums and verify that the paths are
 correct.
 * Add EC2 AMI IDs for Alpha. Our script is working also for prerelease,
but let's add them also manually to globalvar.py, just to be sure.
 * Check and eventually fix checksum paths in all verify pages
 * Update Alpha Image sizes and pre_cloud_composedate in
./build.d/globalvar.py. Verify they are right in Cloud images and Docker
 image.
 * Update the new POT files and push them to Zanata
