I have found some faulty logic in the lost contact handling in the driver that I believe could cause such a shutdown if the GW1000 was lost. I need to work through that logic again and I need to look at where the OSError was coming from. Makes me think there was something else going on but it stills seems to have been triggered by the GW1000 disconnection. [weewx-user] Re: whew and gw1000
Rich, thanks, indeed I did not publish a 2.0.0 release package and hence the 404 error. Luke. As Rich points out you can download a zip of the repo and that will install, my concern is whether there are any outstanding issues with 2.0.0. >From memory I had them all sorted and then other things took me away from publishing the release. Give me day to have a look over 2.0.0 and publish the release. Re: [weewx-user] Re: weather forecast inside the weewx standard skin seasons
The latest release, v3.4.0b6 has resolved my issue above. Forecasts are now being generated along with tides. Thank you for updating! -Troy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group. [weewx-user] Re: New Weatherstation needed with support for weewx
Ecowitt was not what I wanted. I mailed my dealer where I bought 4 years ago the weatherstation and he offered me an alternative sensor able to be used with my TFA weatherstation. saved me 200 euro ;) .. as this sensor was only 30 euro. Re: [weewx-user] weather forecast inside the weewx standard skin seasons
Just installed the latest forecast extension and I'm still getting the same error as above. I don't know if this is related to the forecast extension or an issue with the RPi. It looks like I don't have any issue getting the forecast from OWM but the issue arrives when trying to save the forecast: Aug 18 07:35:24 raspberrypi weewxd: forecast: OWMThread: OWM: saving 40 forecast records Aug 18 07:35:24 raspberrypi weewxd: forecast: OWMThread: OWM: forecast failure: addRecord() got an unexpected keyword argument 'log_level' Aug 18 07:35:24 raspberrypi weewxd: forecast: OWMThread: OWM: terminating thread I've search the user group for "log_level" but haven't been able to come across the topic that has my issue. I will continue my search! Thanks, Troy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group. [weewx-user] Re: whew and gw1000
Gary Believe this is the issue that Luke is having: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ wget -P /var/tmp https://github.com/gjr80/weewx-weewx-wd/releases/download/v2.0.0/weewxwd-2.0.0.tar.gz --2020-08-18 07:17:01-- https://github.com/gjr80/weewx-weewx-wd/releases/download/v2.0.0/weewxwd-2.0.0.tar.gz Resolving github.com (github.com)... 140.82.112.4 Connecting to github.com (github.com)|140.82.112.4|:443... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found 2020-08-18 07:17:02 ERROR 404: Not Found. Now if you go to https://github.com/gjr80/weewx-weewx-wd, cloning or downloading the zip file seems to work.
