Re: [weewx-user] Klimalogg extension installation problem

2024-02-05 Thread BORIS
Thank you Tom, that solved my installation. weewx is now collecting
temperature data from Klimalogg Pro with the USB interface.
It could be good for other users if the commands in
https://github.com/matthewwall/weewx-klimalogg?tab=readme-ov-file   could
be updated for use with weeWX 5.0.
I still have lots of errors in the log such as ERROR
weewx.cheetahgenerator , but I have to check the configuration of
skin.conf and index.html.tmpl

[weewx-user] Klimalogg extension installation problem

2024-02-05 Thread BORIS
I managed to install the weewx simulator after some initial problems with
the NO_PUBKEY ED444FCCF0E2B09E.
The command sudo /etc/init.d/weewx stop did not work and had to use
service weewx stop instead

I am trying to intstall the Klimalogg extension.
I follow the instructions in
https://github.com/matthewwall/weewx-klimalogg?tab=readme-ov-file
The file I could download is weewx-klimalogg/archive/master.zip and not the
weewx-kl.zip
as instructed.
But then the next problem is that the command wee_extension is not found
anywhere in my installation. Where can I find it?
I am using Ubuntu latest version
Please help
/Boris

Re: [weewx-user] ERROR unecpecteddevice id

2023-12-11 Thread BORIS
Hello Rainer,

*Did you press the USB button for the console to initiate the communication
while weewx was waiting ? YesDid you choose the proper Logger in the
console ? I am not sure what you mean with that.*
I followed the instruction for installation as given from:
Platform Packages

For Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, including Raspberry Pi, see:
http://weewx.com/docs/debian.htm
I cannot access the installation now and will provide more detailed log
later with debug set to 1.
I may have forgotten to add the Klimalogg installation at GitHub -
matthewwall/weewx-klimalogg: klimalogg pro driver for weewx

[weewx-user] Re: FTP upload fail

2023-12-10 Thread BORIS
Great! vince, that solved my problem. I added thamn to the path . New path
:  /customers/0/1/3/smeds.eu/httpd.www/thamn .   I now see my Klimalogg pro
temperatures at smeds.eu/thamn/kl
It must be that ONE.com has changed their servers since it worked before
with just /thamn as path.
Thanks again for your support.

[weewx-user] Re: FTP upload fail

2023-12-09 Thread BORIS
I have tried with other paths e.g. thamn that exists on the server without
success. I thought that if I declare a new path called "new" it would be
generated automaticly. At smeds.eu/thamn I have an old upload from 11 of
June 2023. The directory new has not been generated on the server. Checked
with WINscp

[weewx-user] FTP upload fail

2023-12-09 Thread BORIS
Hi,
I have not used Weewx for some time and installed it again on a Ubuntu 14
Laptop.
I can collect the data from my Klimalogg pro and the files are stored
correctly.
Only the FTP transfer is not working to my server at ONE.com
I have other programs written in Python that can upload files correctly to
the server.

My weewx.conf file, FTP part:
   [[kl]]
skin = kl
HTML_ROOT = /var/www/html/weewx/kl

[[FTP]]
# FTP'ing the results to a webserver is treated as just another
report,
# albeit one with an unusual report generator!
skin = Ftp

# If you wish to use FTP, set "enable" to "true", then
# fill out the next four lines.
# Use quotes around passwords to guard against parsing errors.
enable = true
user = smeds.eu
password = "**"
server = ftp.smeds.eu# The ftp server name, e.g,
www.myserver.org
path = /new# The destination directory, e.g., /weather

# Set to True for an FTP over TLS (FTPS) connection. Not all servers
# support this.
secure_ftp = False

# To upload files from something other than what HTML_ROOT is set
# to above, specify a different HTML_ROOT here.
#HTML_ROOT = /var/www/html/weewx

# Most FTP servers use port 21
port = 21

# Set to 1 to use passive mode, zero for active mode
passive = 1

Part of the log looks like this with debug on:

[weewx-user] Dual system WMR88 and KlimaLogg pro

2016-12-06 Thread BORIS
I have been using older versions of weewx with WMR88 and KlimaLogg pro on
different computers. Now I would like to merge the two systems to one
LinuxMint PC laptop. What is the best way to configure weewx ? When I
installed weewx 3.6.2 there was no selection possible for the KlimaLogg
driver, where is the latest version of the KlimaLogg driver?
Regards
Boris
