2022-05-01 Thread Manuel
Thank you very much gjr80 I have converted the database with the
wee_database utility and now WeeWX-Saratoga works perfectly.

Re: [weewx-user] Acumulated rain since a date.

2021-04-26 Thread Manuel
 Solved. I have changed rain_year_start = 9 in weewx.config because there
are two different variables: "$ rainyear.rain.sum" which is the rain since
September and "$ year.rain.sum" the rain since January 1st. That's what I
wanted. Thank you.

Thank you very much Tom. My knowledge doesn't go that far. I do it
manually by adding the rainfall of the months since September, which is the
beginning of the hydrological year.

[weewx-user] Re: Lost sensor contact alarm

2020-12-27 Thread Manuel
I have done it and the solution is very easy. Looking at the database
there is a column that is "rxCheckPercent" I have put it in the weewx.conf
like this [Alarm] expression = rainRate> 0.011811 or rxCheckPercent == 0 and
when the sensor is "0" it sends me an email. In case anyone is interested.

Hi. I would like weewx to send me an email when the external sensors of my

know you can since I have seen the code in the realtime.txt "if 'status' in

know how to do it. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

[weewx-user] Putting back weewx in service after moving to new location

2020-08-14 Thread Manuel G
Hello,

I'm trying to put my weather station back in service after moving to a new
location.

My setup is the following:

weather station: Vantage Pro 2 with network module (WeatherLinkIP)
Server: Debian 10.5
Weewx installation based on documentation for Debian 9 initially and
revised for debian 10. Version is 4.1.1

My understanding is that this is related to the forecast but I'm not fluent
in Python yet.

The log shows the following:

Good morning, I think this topic is old but someone can tell me how to
insert the shortcode image. I put [weewx image = "daywinddir"] but it does
not work. Thank you very much.

Re: [weewx-user] Re: Any Netatmo cloud users working?

2018-04-18 Thread José-Manuel Anguita
I've been testing with other systems and I can confirm you that, at least
in Debian, the sudo wee_config --reconfigure doesn't modify the netatmo
part of /etc/weewx/weewx.conf.

The problem is solved if you edit /etc/weewx/weewx.conf manually and at the
end of file, you add the four parameters for netatmo driver.

Re: [weewx-user] Re: Any Netatmo cloud users working?

2018-04-17 Thread José-Manuel Anguita
I think that I've found the problem.

You should edit */etc/weewx/weewx.conf *manually and add the four Netatmo
parameters to this file.

The problem appears to be that *sudo wee_config --reconfigure* doesn't setup
the driver right.

This worked for me.

[weewx-user] Steel gauges not updating

2017-11-27 Thread Jose Manuel Campoy
Hi

I've installed Steel gauges for weewx and json gauge-data.txt for feeding
the gauges is generated only the first minute that weewx is started. In the
next minute (all this seen with option debug 2) rtgd.py data_service is
reading the data from the Davis (via Ethernet through VVP in the other
machine) but not writing the data to gauge-data.txt.

Here is the log:
