You almost certainly want to configure a "service" in addition to the
vantage "driver" to get the extra data and merge it in.

all the way through.
I would suggest also looking at:
https://github.com/bellrichm/WeeWX-MQTTSubscribe
as a hint, even if you don't want to just post your other data to a
local MQTT broker.
