Re: [weewx-user] Problem with weewx 3.7.1 debian repository

2017-03-27 Thread gjr80
Hi,

The description is great but just like the saying, 'a log extract is worth
a thousand words'. If you can possibly get a log extract from the leadup to
the error until the error occurs and post it you will probably get more
assistance than if you don't post a log extract.

More information:

Each time we reset the raspberrypi and start weewx detects that the last
data has not been persisted, and performs the insertion of the data for the
last days. I think it is clear that there is a persistence of data problem,
a failure of the file system.

Most likely, the SD card in your RPi is beginning to fail. Hopefully, you
have a backup.

You may be able to save it by dumping it, then restoring, using the tool
sqlite3.

sudo apt-get install sqlite3
echo '.dump' | sqlite3 /var/lib/weewx/weewx.sdb | sqlite3 /var/tmp/weewx.sdb
sudo mv /var/lib/weewx/weewx.sdb /var/lib/weewx/weewx.sdb.old
sudo mv /var/tmp/weewx.sdb /var/lib/weewx/weewx.sdb

It's a long shot, but you might get lucky.
