I am trying to set up a weather station in an area without internet, it will transmit the data back through ham radio APRS. I've tried a number of programs and extensions with varying degrees of poor reliability. I've finally found a combination that works.
My present setup is WS-2902 > GW1000 > weewx interceptor > weewx > weewx2aprx > aprx > APRS > NWS. Weewx2aprx was written by Hamid Misnan and is based on cwxn. It shares a problem that cwxn had, in that it reports the hourly rain but not the 12 hour rain and rain since midnight. I worked with Hamid to fix a humidity issue, but he no longer uses weewx and cannot help with the rainfall issue. Hamid's page is here, the files can be found there: https://9m2tpt.blogspot.com/2015/09/getting-your-fine-offset-wx-on-rf-with.html gjr80 was kind to fix the problem with cwxn, any assistance is appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
