The item you're proposing assumes I have access to the underlying weld container, which I don't in the case I'm using StartMain to launch my app. Likewise if I'm using arquillian to bootstrap, still don't have WeldContainer. Some of them seem to be no longer used (maven-eclipse-plugin) and others have old version (maven-enforcer) or useless config (enforcer rules are incorrect and give a warning msg) Note that these changes will affect Weld 2.x and 3.x which use latest version of parent.
