Hi wengonautes,

I think your configuration isn't correctly setup because with svn
version 9734 I've this lines :

(debug) 08:58:03 void
SipAccount::setConnected(bool): XD_SIP_ _isConnected = 0 -> connected =
1
(debug) 08:58:03 void
UserProfile::loginStateChangedEventHandler(SipAccount&,
EnumSipLoginState::SipLoginState): XD_SIP_ [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(debug) 08:58:03 virtual void
PhoneLine::setState(EnumPhoneLineState::PhoneLineState): line state
changed lineId=1 state=PhoneLineStateOk (debug) 08:58:03 void
UserProfile::loginStateChangedEventHandlerThreadSafe(SipAccount&,
EnumSipLoginState::SipLoginState): XD_SIP_ [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(debug) 08:58:03 void
UserProfile::loginStateChangedEventHandlerThreadSafe(SipAccount&,
EnumSipLoginState::SipLoginState): XD_SIP_ CONNECTED (debug) 08:58:03
void PresenceHandler::connectedEventHandler(ConnectHandler&,
std::string): an account is connected, login=didierlink protocol=8

This lines show the connected state with a 64bits client on Gentoo Linux
amd64 ;)

Andreas maybe your firewall setup isn't "complete" at home too ??

Cheers

Didier

I'm not able to connect to my wengo sip account with the latest
wengophone 2.1 version. I've tried the precompiled i586 binary from the
web page and it doesn't work too.

Something is completely wrong.

Hi Philippe,

no I can't at the moment. It doesn't work for me here with latest 2.1
svn, but it could be the company's firewall. I have to try it at home
tonight.

Hello,

Hmm :-(
That's bad news.

We have to crack these problem down for once and for all.

Dave do you know if the Debian blocker tickets are all listed in the 2.1
milestone ?

If not, could you synch them into the 2.1 milestone with a "(debian
blocker)" attribute in their label ?

Thanks,
Jerome

Hi,

Unfortunately, a couple of bugs which were blockers for our inclusion in
the next stable version of Debian have caused us to be removed from
consideration for inclusion in that release - we've been removed from
testing and dialled back to unstable.

http://packages.qa.debian.org/w/wengophone.html

The release critical bugs, including a long-standing x86_64 bug on
start-up, are here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=src&data=wengophone&archi
ve=no&pend-exc=pending-fixed&pend-exc=fixed&pend-exc=done&sev-inc=critical&s
ev-inc=grave&sev-inc=serious

This one is particularly worrying:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=405439

In addition to removing us from contention for Debian Etch, this also
endangers our inclusion in Ubuntu 7.04 - the 2.1 release should be
better on most counts, but we will need some serious testing of it
before it will be credible on Linux.

In related news, I had a repeat of the problem I had last week of
PortAudio blocking when opening /dev/dsp (in spite of the fact that
Audacity gets along fine) after a suspend - in the middle of a demo I
was giving during SCALE :(

Anyway - we're getting there - and I'm confident that we can get this
list of bugs down to a more manageable size in the next couple of weeks:
http://dev.openwengo.com/trac/openwengo/trac.cgi/query?status=new&status=ass
igned&status=reopened&milestone=WengoPhone+2.1

Cheers,
Dave.
