[WestNileNet] Hijacked e-mail

2011-07-30 Thread atibuni kefa

Dear all,
It has come to my attention that some unscrupulous people have hijacked my
yahoo-email address and are using it to send mails without a subject line. Most
of it is linked to pages with bogus messages.
Please, kindly ignore such mails because I have never sent them. Meanwhile, I
have changed my password and; if there is no improvement I may consider
getting a new yahoo mail address. Sorry for the inconveniences caused.
Kefa

2011-07-30 Thread Okuti Richard

Hi,

Greetings, if some one could show up with a laptop with a webcam (A
camera installed on the screen top - though we could do with voice only
an option), an Internet connection (I have modems, may be we can just
add some airtime), I can set up skype and any one from all over the
world can join the meeting. I have speakers as well to make
communication from online participants louder.

In brief it is possible (unfortunately I am using a laptop without a
webcam and the sound failed too!), so members move with your laptops.

Robert Ejiku,

Thanks for the meeting reminder. There was a suggestion of
allowing people who may not have the opportunity of physically
attending the meeting to be connected to a virtual conference
system. Is that idea still a possibility in terms of the technical
infrastructure arrangements? If the meeting organizers may have
any arrangements for this meeting to be attended virtually by
people who away, place include my name in that group. I wouldlike
to attend the meeting if the technology permits.

Otherwise I wish all of you fruitful deliberations.

Re: [WestNileNet] Meeting Reminder

2011-07-30 Thread Robert Ejiku
Dear Vasco,

Greetings to you. I am not aware of a provision for virtual attendees but
the originator of that idea could respond in due course. However I have a
feeling that given the proposed venue and its environment, it may be
unlikely to do that.

At the same time I am not one who is very gifted with this trend of
technology and really would not be the best to comment on it.

I would request Okuti Richard or indeed Kiggundu Mukasa to favour me with a
response.

Thank you and all the best.
