Re: [WestNileNet] FDC fronts Alaka for Godi's seat "Red Pepper"

Dear Caleb
Sorry if it is only now that I drop a line. I agree with you. A critical
analysis of our political scene shows that people are looking forward to
politicians who make a difference. They got disappointed by older
politicians who thought that doing politics is just a question of dishing
money, salt etc. They then expected the younger people to deliver but do we
understand what is the best for them, for us and for our region?
Let's not forget that we also need people who are technical in various
fields without meddling with politics. Several times like in Italy when the
govt goes into crisis, they hand the govt to technical caretakers who try to
put some order. I would rather say go on as a learned (or learning since we
have to learn the whole of our lives) friend.
Let's not forget to carry our brother Godi in prayers
God bless you all

RE: [WestNileNet] FDC fronts Alaka for Godi's seat "Red Pepper"

2009-01-14 Thread Idoru, David
Caleb and team,

I agree with you absolutely.

More than ever before, we need to think out our game plan and know what
to do to achieve our aspirations.

In the past our parents were moved by emotions and they under delivered,
we can not afford that any more. This is a different generation.

Our action should be directed by reason and rational. We need to be
strategic. That is the only way can catch up with the rest of the world
or even beat the rest of the world.

Let's be clear on what we need to achieve and what we need to do to
achieve it then focus our actions.

Good day.

Regards

Dear Acidri James , Eng. O. Robert, Father Ruffino, Eng. Okuni and all
the Folks

I woke up yesterday to a barrage of phone calls and SMS messages from
foes and friends telling me to read the 2nd Page of a Local tabloid
called the Redpepper. On getting a copy of the said issue, I saw the
Article and perused the same. This was not the first time the
RedPepper guys opined an Artilce linking me to Politics. Gentlemen, I
am cognisant to the fact that with the discovery of the Largest Oil
wells in Amuru and the Assuarences of even larger ones in West Nile,
there exists all the justification for us to start direct
participation in Politics. However, such participation will have to be
well thought out and well planned. Besides, we need some consensus
amongst us as the elites from Arua. It will be myopic for us to
venture into politics without this consensus. Redpepper can write
anything but the onus is on us to agree on who amongst us should be
fronted not only as an M.P but probably as a board member of a certain
Company or for any placements. Wish you a nice day.
