Hi,
I had a use case where I needed point labels beside the bars. I made a small
patch based on 1.5.2.1 release of SRF to get this done.
- [ADD] a new parameter 'showpointlabels' of type boolean.
- [ADD] file jqplot.pointLabels.js to repository

The real bug here is that the newline after a C++-style // comment is stripped unconditionally, even though the minifier keeps each statement on its own line unless $wgResourceLoaderMinifyJSVerticalSpace is set to true. I have changed it to unconditionally *preserve* such newlines in r81246, and confirmed that this fixes your test case. Especially when the fixes (eg, r81247) are not terribly complicated. SpecialPage::addPage() is a horrible, horrible interface, but it takes about 5 minutes to fix (and really, everything in trunk using it should get fixed so we can slap a wfDeprecated() on it). Deleting random extensions is going to hurt random third party users. I cannot underline this next point enough, so it's getting it's own paragraph: People leave error reporting off on a lot of production boxes (especially if it's just throwing E_NOTICE or E_WARNING over something relatively trivial). So broken extensions might still appear to be fully functional to third parties. Are they bad sysadmins? Yep. But we shouldn't throw them a curveball. At the very least, they should be marked with an OBSOLETE/DEPRECATED/OLD file like we did with MakeSysop and friends as they were slowly removed. It can't hurt to have them in for a release, and then nobody can fault you for not saying anything. Now, if you have some helpful suggestions for individual extensions we should remove due to (really!) bad code, outdatedness, etc, I'm all ears. But to do it en-masse is just a Bad Idea. On Commons we now have {{int:Lang}} which powers [1], {{LangSwitch}} for texts
[2] and {{autotranslate}} [3] for templates such as {{Apache}}[4].
I don't think we need an extension of some kind, especially since the above two
have been broadly used and commonly accepted.

The error is in fact shown if columns is 1 and rows is 0.
However if the Add header row checkbox is ticked then 0 rows is allowed.
We can't decide and should not 'disallow' a user from creating a table header
without rows. This could be useful for demonstration purpuses if no content is
available yet.
The following renders just fine, no problems:
