Using r110078 of SemanticFormsInputs and fields that use regex validation throw
a fatal error:

PHP Notice:  Undefined variable: wgOut in
/srv/www/mediawiki/public_html/w/extensions/SemanticFormsInputs-trunk/SFI_Inputs.php
on line 178

Modifying line 85 and adding the $wgOut to globals fixes it.

global $wgRequest, $wgUser, $wgParser, $wgOut;

While this does allow the form to render, the form inputs that are using regex
validation still fail to render.

I'm using r110078 of both AdminLinks and Maps extensions. AdminLinks works fine
on a wiki without Maps enabled. When Maps are enabled it generates this error:

If getting a full tile server going is too slow, we may want to check whether a
caching proxy the fetches from OSM's main servers would be acceptable, as that
might be easier to furnish.

We are currently planning not to work on this; position:fixed is only supported
under Android 2.2 and later, and iscroll library is too slow on Android devices
under 2.x (no hw accel for the rendering).

Slightly more advanced in Android 4.0 with the "explore by touch" feature, but
it still reads nothing out of the web views, including in the stock Browser
application.

I don't see a lot of documentation, but here's an old blog post introducing the
system:

Briefly tried enabling it on my Nexus 1 (Android 2.3.6). It seems highly
dependent on keyboard navigation, which we're currently really bad at on
Android for some reason.

Tapping into the search field reads out "edit box web view", and that's
about it. Ugh!


On the other hand, the system Browser app seems to have the same fate.
"Browser. Web view." and .. nothing more even as I navigate through the
document and links using the thumbwheel.

There may be little or nothing we can do; it doesn't seem comparable to iOS's
VoiceOver which can actually read text from the web views (though we have some
issues with selection and interaction  there too)

Tracked this down to commit ae9606ed5627c60425c5d55905872913c2eb1d13 which
changed the settings section's header from a  to a .

There's no obvious reason this *should* break it, but ... somehow it does.

Fixed in r110087. Full timestamps are used instead of dates because we might
add support for more frequently updating feeds in the future. Note that all the
timestamps are normalised to start of the day internally.

Those two URLs die with uncatched exceptions. I even had expected the first one
to work, because a timestamp of ../20120126/de should be enought for a daily
updated feed, shouldn't it?

I would like to see a list of the cached entries when visiting the special
page. Today I will have to know feeds name, the items publishing timestamp and
the language, else you get a "no feed specified" error. At least the language
shouldn't be required and fall back to wgContentLanguage, just as calling the
api feed without a language parameter.

If you won't implement a list output (which might become very long) I would
like to see a nice form with a dropdown of the available feed names, and some
sort of date picker - just use HTML5 input types which fall back to text
fields. And the language should default to wgUseLanguage (already alterable
with URL parameter).
Of course for a form the special page would have to take GET/POST parameters as
an input, not only "subpages".

Patch (didn't test whether this breaks other stuff)

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ucucha/bug32802 for another example. The
"title" attribute for the editsection link is "Edit section: foo ==Notice of
discussion at the Administrators' Noticeboard == Hello. This message is being
sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at
[[Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents]] regarding an issue with
which you may have been involved.Thank you. bar", which expands the
ANI-notice template.

I've attached a simple patch that fixes this issue on my local installation of
MW trunk. I haven't been able to run parser tests, so I'm not sure whether this
may break other stuff.

Closing the nearby map hides the map and doesn't actually close it. Upon
choosing nearby again, it doesn't check for presence of an old instance, and
instead re-adds another map layer to your view and showing them both.

The home button is 35px high and the search button 37px

They should be equal. Also I seem to remember that having even values for
things like this is preferable for scaling.

I think it's downloading the list of all languages before it starts rendering
the page overlay ? It should first draw UI, then fire off API languages request
and then update the element, to keep it snappy.

OK, I don’t get it. When I was testing the API using the sandbox, I
middle-clicked the example, which opened another tab with “Wikipedia does not
recognize the action specified by the URL.” And I saw the href on the anchor
does indeed contain the invalid URL. Now, after you pointed that out, I tried
left-clicking the link to learn that, indeed, it does nothing (I guess a dummy
onclick handler?).

But… What is the point, then? If you want to just display an example URL (with
no intention to make it work), then do not wrap it into an  tag. If you wrap
it, use an href making sense.

Or, what purpose does that anchor serve?

today, but then we still need to add both the fb secret (in WMSHKConfigurator)
and the fb appID in the protocol signature.

How about making this part of 1.19?  It can lead to data loss (e.g., the user
does a search while on the edit page, and unwittingly loses whatever she was
working on).

The 'More' option in ShareKit's sharing menu should pop up a sheet showing an
editable list of sharing options; however the list is empty. (Tested my iPad
and iPod Touch both on iOS 5.0.1)

This list should either be complete, or not be offered.

Attempting to use ShareKit's sharing to Facebook results in opening the
Facebook app, then showing an error message "An error occurred. Please try
again later."

I suspect we need to fill in an API key which gets passed over to the app.
