When it does, the add to / remove from watchlist feature is broken, as are any gadgets relying on mw.user.options and probably other JS features. I didn't deploy it correctly, I forgot mediawiki.user.js . This should be resolved now that Andrew has re-pushed it. Consistent reproduction is hard (in some user sessions, seemingly impossible, with others, continually appearing), suggesting a bug that's triggered under certain timing conditions. Escalating priority until we've got a better handle on this. I have touched and synced a few files (mediawiki.js , mediawiki.user.js and startup.js) in an effort to fix this, cause I think it's probably just cached old code. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

[Bug 32660] File extensions for the same file type should not allow variations of a file name (File:X.jpg, File:X.jpeg, File:X.JPG should all refer to the same file)
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32660 johnnymrni...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||johnnymrni...@gmail.com --- Comment #9 from johnnymrni...@gmail.com 2012-02-18 11:28:54 UTC --- (In reply to comment #7) Yes, leaving them allows for the problem of Foo.jpg and Foo.png, which sucks, but happens so comparatively rarely to the problem in this bugzilla as to almost not be an issue. You probably could code this problem away too, but I don't want to ask too much. Even if file extensions are kept in the page titles, it would be desirable to disallow Foo.jpg/Foo.png duplication. Also, when standardizing extensions, is the software simply going to be replacing .Jpeg - .jpg, or is it going to ignore the uploader and base the extension off of the data in the file? The second would be preferable, and it seems that MW already checks to make sure that the file is the correct extension when it is uploaded. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. We can do the above fix (the exact patch doesn't work but it can be adapted), or another solution could be to simply change it to margin: 0 5px; so it would be 5px on both sides regardless of LTR/RTL. The /xx value in the test cases are greater than the max number of bits in the IP address, which is 32. Also, the regexp looks for 1-3 digits in the /xx portion. Valid values would be 1-32. I have send the change as r111832. Comments inside the source code give some explanations. To: and Subject: headers need to be handled differently depending upon the mailer we are going to use. To: PHP mail() first argument is the mail receiver. The argument is used as a recipient destination and as a To header. PEAR mailer has a recipient argument which is only used to send the mail. If no To header is given, PEAR will set it to to 'undisclosed-recipients:'. NOTE: To: is for presentation, the actual recipient is specified by the mailer using the Rcpt-To: header. Subject: PHP mail() second argument to pass the subject, passing a Subject as an additional header will result in a duplicate header. PEAR mailer should be passed a Subject header. With r111832, mails sent to a single recipients will look alike with mail() or PEAR Mail. For multiple recipients: - php mail() will show the recipient email and 'undisclosed-recipients:' - PEAR Mail will only show 'undisclosed-recipients:' -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
