And maybe create custom atom/rss feeds for recent uploaded files. There's no functionality for this in the current API modules: * list=allimages lists images in alphabetically order. * list=logeventsleaction=upload gives not-usable results when files are deleted or moved I've taken the effort to create the API Class that provides this functionality by myself. I'm sorry for not being able to provide it in a patch format, but it should be easy to integrate it in the MediaWiki code. Both query the image table http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Image_table but using different indexes for that. list=allimages provides functionality to filter by image name (or preffix) while the new list=newfiles provide functionality to filter by username. I'm not sure if mysql can use both indexes to perform the query or not, but if not then both kind of filtering should be mutually exclusive (or allowed only in Miser Mode). Also, pagination and sorting is different in both modes because of the indexes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. Recently I found that one can add new options (''keys''). This is very useful for Community scripts. So I hope this was intentional behaviour and this bug is about clarifying that. What in particular, I'd like to know is: * Will it be supported in future? * Which max. size (i.e. how many bytes) can the pref have? * How many prefs can be added? * Is it possible to remove one particular pref without having to reset all? Again, it would be really useful if I could get started using this feature. Currently I have to publicly store user prefs for my scripts using ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadget-SettingsManager.js ) in their common or skin.js. Having a private place to store them would be great, especially because one can retrieve them with both, the API and they are by default in mw.user.options – JavaScript RL module. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 37250] [ApprovedRevs] disappearing editsection
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37250 Yaron Koren yaro...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution||FIXED --- Comment #4 from Yaron Koren yaro...@gmail.com 2012-09-09 23:20:19 UTC --- This was indeed a bug. I believe this is now fixed, in Git - the edit section links appear when the approved revision is also the latest revision; although they still don't appear if the approved rev is not the latest, which is on purpose: there's no guarantee that the sections in the two revisions will be at all similar. I'm setting this to fixed, although feel free to re-open if there are any problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

Or you could leave delivery on only for a short period. (also, you could request that people CC you on replies) Mailing lists suck. They're a crutch needed primarily because MediaWiki lacks a proper discussion system. If someone doesn't feel comfortable using them, that's perfectly acceptable. Though of course simply listing workarounds to the noise problem is fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug.
