It looks like you have solved bug 45446 for sv.wikipedia.

On sv.Wikisource, we would like to have the same feature, but with a small
change, if possible. We are mainly dealing with older texts, therfore an older
sorting order is more valid. The difference from Wikipedia should be that the
letter 'W' should be regarded as another way of writing the letter 'V', they
should have the same priority in sorting order. 'Wallenberg' should be listed
before 'Vennerström' under label 'V'.

kategorier"
Two users has agreed this far, all of the active sysops. 

Look in the article of "W" on sv.wikipedia for details of why we want this
solution. The letter W officially became a part of the Swedish alphabet as late
as 2006. On Wikisource, we are dealing mainly with texts from 19'th century.

It was probably stuck in squid cache, logged in with no cache that
commons.wikipedia url works fine.

I purged it from squid cache and it works now (tested in incognito mode with no
cookies/cache, logged out).

I used a Google internal library written in C++. It generated HTTP request in
HTTP protocol 1.1. It is similar with command "wget
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netherlands";

What's the difference between different tools? Why does it matter?

When MediaWiki generates the HTML content of one page, it should use the
matched revision id and wikitext, right?

adding an article in a new language does not update the list of languages
without issueing a purge on all languages.

example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wickiana:
adding article with language makedonian made it necessary to add "purge" in the
Urls of the de, id, it, en, bar versions. then adding tr made it necessary to
do a purge on de, id, it, en, bar, mk.

With a current nightly build, I tried uploading files with these names, and
they all failed (after reaching 100% uploaded):

The following filenames did not fail:

Wat wat wat

(Perhaps the pattern is, it needs more than three non-punctuation characters in
the title?)

That was all earlier today. As of right now, every upload I start from the app
fails immediately (before uploading), and sending an file to the app via
intents causes a crash immediately upload pressing Upload.

Ignoring the fact cat redirects got reverted pending a cleaner implementation,
I don't know how good an idea this is. It seems like if a category is a
redirect, it should not have any members itself.

(That said, a proper implementation of category redirects would have to record

This has recently been improved a lot.

Right now there are no favicons served in PNG format, nor are they any favicons
served directly from Commons. They're all in bits.wikimedia.org/favicons now

Something strange happened while doing reviews. I also did some stuff in
another closed terminal.
This is the history from the terminal where I checked out the latest stuff. I
run tests in another terminal.

After 1362 I found that tests failed to run, did a checkout of master and found
a lot of errors. 1359 should not introduce errors in the client. At 1348 I did
not find any errors. Perhaps some rebase and/or merge has triggered something.

Going one back did not remove the errors, going two back did remove them. So it
seems like the merge at 0905d95 "(bug 45037) show edit link only if we have
repo links" triggered the errors. That is line 1348 in my history and I did not
do a local rebase before the merge.

I'm going to revert the changeset and then we must try to figure out what went
wrong.

I see.I think MZMcBride's design is nice.But I'm not sure that add a new user
group with "unwatchedpages" right is good or helpful because I don't know how
many user who not the administrator need to watch the count of the page less 30
watchers.Would it make the administrator confused?

When a list is filtered, "Skip and next" does not work.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to URL.
2. Keep scrolling down until all results are loaded
3. Filter on "proof"

Observed: There are 5 results.

4. Open the first message ("Proofread")
5. Click "Skip and next"

Observed: The opened message ("Proofread") closes.
Observed: The opened message closes ("Proofread"), and the next one ("This
message group shows all...") opens.

Will only be a problem (relative to current config) in the unlikely event that
user subscribed with address A writes to the list from address A in Sender
(e.g. webmail; or SMTP-AUTH) but specifying address B in From (e.g.
misconfigured SMTP client).

I can reproduce it.  That obviously is the code that's there on master:

20165 is the first revision (20030725151910) of that page:

The duplicate page_id must have been: rev_page_id (rev_page, rev_id), and thus
the $dbw->insert( 'revision', $row, __METHOD__ ); of line 1347.

Sidenote:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=5317080&oldid=5310095 states that
the page had more than 5000 revisions, but only 3774 were restored (there are
in total 3808 revisions now)

However, I don't see revisions left:

It may have been an estimation error by mysql EXPLAIN. It also happened in Jan

Looks like the code only saves the user_id, so pretty much any action where
it's 0, it should be ignored/skipped/whatever, as there's no way to
differentiate between anon/non existent users...


In the maintenance script:
$userId = intval( $row->eeb_user_id );
if ( $userId && $userId > $startUserId ) {
$emailBatch = MWEchoEmailBatch::newFromUserId( $userId );

When you change the ICU version, you have to rebuild all the sort keys for
wikis that use uca-* collations, with updateCollation.php --force. Lucid has
ICU 4.2, and precise has 4.8, so when the upgrade to precise was in progress,
Faidon built a custom php5-intl compiled against ICU 4.2.

The upgrade to precise is now complete, so the next task is to remove the
custom php5-intl package and run updateCollation.php --force on the uca-*
wikis. The fewer wikis that have to be treated this way, the easier it will be.
And migrating wikis to uca-* at this stage is wasted effort, since the results
of running updateCollation.php on ICU 4.2 will need to be thrown away within a
day or two.

Hi.

Just wanted to put a note that I had a database error while trying to restore
an article.

Here is the message I get :
> from within function "Revision::insertOn". Database returned error "1062:

The page I tried to restore was
https://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Red_de_computadoras&action=history
and the restore process seems to have worked fine, except I've got the error
I'm reporting.

@Sam that simply wrong. I have used for LaTeXML where I allowed for null values
if no math image has been generated. But it should not appear here. If
$this->hash is not set this leads to an error as well. 

I can not reproduce the error:
