The number of large projects with RCPatrol on and with lots of bot edits in a short period of time must be, well... one, and that's the one with the issue :-D If we want RCPatrol to scale then we need to rethink the ever-expanding log; even a 30 day retention is better than what we have now. If we use the XML file, new text entries wil be created. This isn't awesome, but at least the missing revisions will be back in there. I have no idea how importDump responds to importing revisions for a page where a page with that title exists already; it will silently skip existing revisions however, and that's good for us. If we wanted to try to construct the revision rows with the original text ids, there's a stub dump from around the beginning of June 2012 which would give us the info, and a check of the sql query on bug 37591 shows that there was nothing new since then. 1. Created a new Template:Test
2. Include {{Test}} in Mediawiki:Sidebar
The {{Test}} template is visible on the content (and preview)-page, but not in
the sidebar.

Let's say Q5 has property P11 which refers to Q23; Q5 is linked to local page
[[Foo]] and has label Foo, and Q23 is linked to local page [[The Thing
(movie)]] and has label The Thing.
Then, when using {{#property:P11}} on the page [[Foo]], the result should be
The Thing (movie), not just The Thing, so this can be used as a link.
Perhaps this should be optional: return labels, return titles, or return full
links (using titles as the target and labels as the link text).
It might be sufficient to cover this with Lua, but as far as I'm aware, this
isn't currently possible with Lua either.

Is there any way to get revision information using the magic words for another

No, I don't think so. It's the collation in article title that causes
duplication.
If you have an article called Müller and set any property [[has
property::value]] on it and then open http://your.site/wiki/Muller?action=edit
and you DB collation treats u and ü as the same (that is, it will not allow to
create Muller if there is already Müller) than there will be two of each
properties for Müller and Muller and both of them (one red) will appear in any
SMW query for those properties ({{#ask:[[has property::value]]|format=list}}
will give Müller, Muller).
You don't even need to change DB collation.
Similar artifacts will be observable in MW logs: they will show the name under
which the page was accessed (red if different) not stored.

I am not sure about this new behaviour. Now you have to force a second main
column and suppress the first main column to avoid the column duplication on
Special:Ask. Is this really the intended behaviour?
This gives you two main result columns on Special:Ask:
