Supposedly powerful governments fall in the street for much less and remember that here the real danger isn't any kind of real rebellion, but something much more damageful to the project: the mass abandonment of the projet from editors that in one day bring more to the project that all the IP's in one week. Dismiss these arguments any way you want, you can call them exxagerated, catastrophic, radical, unpolite, subversive, whatever; I don't give a damn... After all, I am a volontary who has believed that my work of many hundred of hours doing my best to preserve and improving the quality of Wikipedia was part of something which was worth, a really free project where little big games of power, sex of the angels discussions and alikes were secondary. If you convince me that I don't belong here because my ideas are all wrong, better for me, and surely that the project will hardly notice that I finally decided that it's wiser to me to find another way of spending all the time I spend here. But remember that there will be much more people thinking and doing the same. But, as in real life, here we notice the same tendency of those who have a little power in their hands, that makes them think that they know better about what should be done than those who are on the terrain. The links from the toolbar look like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:GettingStarted/task/copyedit?exclude=Tirgan_Festivalsource=navbar-next (the exclude varying, of course). Locally: http://127.0.0.1:8080/wiki/Special:GettingStarted/task/copyedit?source=gettingstarted (not precisely a URL is generated in prod, but close and a valid URL I expect to be parsed correctly) http://127.0.0.1:8080/srv/mediawiki/index.php?title=Special:GettingStarted/task/copyeditsource=gettingstarted (local version of one of the prod URLs) http://127.0.0.1:8080/wiki/Special:GettingStarted/task/copyedit?exclude=Tirgan_Festivalsource=navbar-next (local version of the URL shown on the toolbar) all parse correctly. There are only a handful of invalid GettingStartedNavbarNoArticle_5483117 events, while there are hundreds of valid ones (including a few from today). I can reproduce the issue with invalid URLs like: http://127.0.0.1:8080/srv/mediawiki/index.php?title=Special:GettingStarted/task/copyedit?source=gettingstarted But I haven't yet seen anywhere the code could generate such a URL. It is possible there's an edge case I missed. However, if the code isn't generating it, it could be an external tool or a URL hacker. I was not able to find any invalid events (at all, not just for this issue) for GettingStartedNavbar with 5588671 (the current revid) or 5496876 (the prior deployed one). however the message key is enforced by FormSpecialPage::getForm to effectively
