Attached is an XML file that I generated with wget (through the assistance of persons on #mediawiki) which I have slightly redacted to remove my watchlist token. As Wikimedia developers have software compliance issues in continuing support to Narayam IME, WMF shall not provide Narayam as part of Wikimedia pages (either as built-in or as an extension). However, users or community may develop/adapt/implement their own IME methods by way of their user scripts or tools external to Wikipedia interface, under their own responsibility. Communities have free reign over their JavaScript and CSS pages. We strongly advise against software development for all users of a specific Wikimedia wiki without co-ordinating with Wikimedia Foundation developers. WMF can provide continuity that a community in some cases cannot provide. 5a. The system fonts will be the default available font initially for Malayalam language in all *.wik*.org projects (as one opens a Wikimedia project page). After removing a namespace that used to have semantics enabled (yes, I did run
the semantic update script, twice), I get the following error on trying to
update the link cache with refreshLinks.php (the removed namespace was 554):

I forgot about this bug - upgraded my mediawiki to latest snapshot of 1.22 and
the issue came back.
The issue isn't related to a particular extension, but to the use of the
AutoLoader. Above the samples were with WikiEditor. This time I came across it

This handles the case where $filename is a linux full path (starting at /) or a
windows full path (with the drive letter i.e. c:) but does not handle the case
of a network share on windows (\\server\path)
Again fix in first message does address this:

':' substr( $filename, 0, 2 ) != '')
Adjusted to look specifically for two forward slashes in case there's some
other case where one forward slash is ok?

- Press Transclusion at the toolbar
- At the transclusion dialog, hover on the + symbol at the bottom left
- Press the hidden Add content ([]) button.
- Type anything at the Content text box (I've tried plain text, [[wikilink]],
and {{cn}})
- Apply changes
Nothing shows at the edited page, nor at Review your changes. But from now
on, the Transclusion button does nothing, as well as any other button with a
dialog (link, media, insert reference...)

Now one could argue the label shouldn't update at this point so that the sentence still reads the same (e.g. when changing intending to change the link from He was [[foolian]]. to He was [[Foo|foonier]].) and to be consistent for cases where the link does have a custom label (in which case it is more likely the label should stay the same?). However given the following two cases: * ... is an [[United States|American]] thing ... - is a [[Germany|German]] thing ... * ... according to [[David Tennant]] ... - according to [[Russell T Davies]] ... It is very common that the label should change to the target automatically (the second case) or at least be easy to change right after (first case). Ideally for the first case above it would automatically change to Germany and then the user can correct it to German. 2) Change the label of any link Whether internal or external, it seems quite difficult to change the label of a link. When selecting the entire link text and typing over it, it currently behaves as follows: Some alink/a Select link (has to be done manually (tedious and error prone) Some [selection]alink/a[/selection] Type hello. Some ah/aello. wtf? Though I'm open to other ideas, I'd recommend we start by putting an input field in the link inspector for the label so that they can be changed together.
