This error is made worse by the difference between the syntax used in MathJax
and texvc. In

a unicode character was used in a formula, the editor was probably using
MathJax so the error did not show up. There seem to be a few such errors. A

"You're gonna want to avoid inline CSS at all costs. Rather than putting an
inline style, instead have a CSS file for each provider. That way when
MediaWiki eventually becomes CSP-compatible E:OpenID can work with it."

Sounds reasonable. I am moving it to the Translate extension, because it's not
a bug in ULS, but a matter of how Translate uses ULS.

I guess that you are trying to do this in the US, and according to the CLDR
these are the common languages of the US. The mysterious ᏣᎳᎩ language is
Cherokee. If you would do this from an IP in Spain, Catalan would appear there.

CLDR is the default, but making the defaults smarter is what this bug is about.

When logging in, and wgSecureLogin is used, the forceHTTPS cookie (to have
mediawiki redirect to https from an http call) isn't set for all SUL domains,
only the project where the user is logging in.

Need to add the forceHTTPS cookie, probably in the same place where we set the
token cookie.

Agreed, and thus changing bug status.

For what it's worth, if I clone wikibugs on my local machine and run it on a
NEW bug mail, it reports the reporter as "(tim)" in my case, while the deployed
wikibugs says "()".  So maybe I am doing something wrong (or right?), or the
deployment process is faulty.

Could some ops please verify:

- what script is called according to the exim config on mchenry, and
- what the MD5/SHA1/whatever of the script /as/ /deployed/ is?

With the introduction of the recent PATCH_TO_REVIEW automatic logic, now the
Gerrit to Bugzilla bot will re-open bugs and post notifications if patch sets
are uploaded for WMF branches. In other words, if a patch fixing a bug is
merged on master, and the bug is thus marked as FIXED, and then it is
backported to another branch, the bot will re-open the bug and post
notifications about it.

MZMcBride has derided this as a non-problem on Meta, and followed it here.  No
explanation of why he has opposed having this fixed, has been given, except to
hint that blocked users probably deserve to be outed, as do those who's user
names bear some relation to their real life. 

To me this attitude is very strange, and not helpful.

I'm going to call this bug closed for now. There's pretty graphs at

One thing we were talking about earlier was doing actual tests where we have a
script that either looks at recent re-uploads, and check the purge succeded, or
specificly purged things, and checked to see if that works. We could do that
later if this monitoring turns out not to be enough

Step 2 will assure that the information is  not leaked.

Since Gerrit change #77720, the post-merge test is failing.  This results from
a symlink from modules/nrpe/spec/fixtures/modules/nrpe/manifests to
modules/nrpe/manifests which leads to a manifest existing twice.

http://docs.puppetlabs.com/puppet/2.7/reference/modules_fundamentals.html says:
"spec/ — Contains spec tests for any plugins in the lib directory."  So I
*think* these directories should not be parsed by the documentation generator.

Word does a thin line (1px wide, maybe) down the outer column of a page to
indicate changed lines, in both the desktop and print versions, I believe, by

If the user-agent accesses the desktop site without cookies enabled, can you
not redirect them to the mobile site?

Authur, yes, if not possible to work properly without cookies, the user should
be informed ( again, this may be technically impossible with currect tech in
which case LATER is appropriate but documentation could still be improved)

Sorry.

* Edit a page, making changes
* Click "Save page".  Save dialog pops down, and thermometer is spinning.
* Click "Review changes" before the thermometer stops.
The save dialog collapses down to a single line, which contains only the
"Review changes" button, a left arrow button, and an up button.  This is
strange.  The thermometer is gone.  There is no explanation of why i am
presented with this damaged dialog.

Apparently, with my broken VE, the loading/render/whatever the thermometer
represents never finishes.  Which made it very easy to reproduce this other
bug.

I can reproduce this in Firefox but not in Chromium, on a slowish Ubuntu

Attempt to login on beta commons with improper credentials. 

Messages like "Login error/There is no user by the name "asfdasfa"" do not
appear.

This seems sporadic, and while it doesn't happen all the time, it does happen a
lot, so I hope I am giving enough details to repeat this:

1. Put the cursor on an empty line without text.
2. Click the "Bold" button.
3. Type gibberish fast (ldkjlskdfjlkdjs lskdjf lsdkjflsdkjljsf)
4. Witness weirdness: new characters pop up in the line underneath or in
between the bits of gibberish, and if I try "backspace" to erase the lines even
weirder stuff happen (like characters popup instead of being deleted, etc.

This doesn't happen when I typed regular language, I suspect, then, that it has
to do with the speed of the insertion?

But after a single occurrence of this bug, the behavior of delete/backspace
creates further bugs even if I stop typing quickly, or start new lines, etc.

To clarify the edit icon without a lock means "it is possible to edit this
page" regardless of whether logged in or not. If logged out if however prompts
the user to log in.

I think what MZ is suggesting is that this message should somehow clarify it is
possible to edit on desktop possibly even passing a link to desktop. I'm not
sure this is the best idea as the majority of editors we see on mobile are
first time users and I worry that this might create a poor and potentially off
putting first experience of editing

I used that account, chose a random PNG file to upload, set the name to
Img_illust_muiku.png, and it works for me as the existing file is detected.
