https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46579 Kevin Israel (PleaseStand) changed: What|Removed |Added CC||pleasest...@live.com --- Comment #47 from Kevin Israel (PleaseStand) --- I reviewed the patch against what I understood to be the agreed-upon sequence and found a few issues, which I noted. As for the sequence itself, consider for example: wgLang = fit (fallbacks fi, en) wgContLang = fi (fallback en) 10: DB/fit 20: CDB/fit (if DB missing) 30: DB/fi 40: CDB/fi (if DB missing) 50: DB/en 60: CDB/en (if DB missing) 70: DB 80: false (site language and all fallbacks already checked) It doesn't seem right that if DB were created, then DB/en as a translation of DB, that DB/en would override DB. It shouldn't be necessary to duplicate DB at DB/fi. So perhaps it would make sense to add a "25: DB": if DB/fi is in the sequence, then DB would be checked immediately beforehand. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

[Bug 60416] Protect pages on wiki.toolserver.org
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60416 --- Comment #2 from Tim Landscheidt --- (In reply to comment #1) > This bug is invalid, as far as I'm concerned. It's still unclear what's going > to happen to the wiki at wiki.toolserver.org, but I can't fathom a reason > that > we would need to protect outdated/historical pages such as the Toolserver > account approval policy. And protecting individual pages on a wiki (or not) > is > outside the scope of Bugzilla. Regarding the first aspect, I didn't look for a reason, but the pages are protected currently, and I see no reason not to transfer that setting that has been enabled for years; if we found some time in the future that this was a mistake or just unnecessary, it would take a couple of clicks to unprotect them. Regarding the second aspect, this bug is "part" of the mother bug 60220. It's a small, actionable item with clear dependencies so that it is not missed in a gush of text and comments. Its topic isn't protecting pages on a wiki, but preserving the protection status as part of the migration. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 52061] Merge Poem extension into MediaWiki core
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52061 --- Comment #30 from C. Scott Ananian --- Regarding my use of "indent-pre" above -- I'm looking at this mostly from the perspective of parser maintenance. As [[testwiki:bug 52061]] demonstrates, the desired behavior of / is the same as the existing behavior of 'indent-pre', although the implementation in the original patch was very different. I would like to try to avoid adding a bunch of new hair (and crazy interactions) with the new feature, and instead try to reuse the existing indent-pre handling code so that all the corner cases were consistent. In fact, assuming this gets merged, it might be cleaner in the future to document the "indent pre" behavior as "an implicit surrounding the indented region". This would reduce confusion because "indent pre" and "" are actually quite different in their handling of embedded wikitext, etc. I like the name , btw. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59648 --- Comment #9 from Robby --- When making today translations on meta.wikimedia.org I could no longer notice the behaviour described in this bug. I made test with Firefox Version 26.0 as well as with Google Chrome Version 32.0 and everything worked normal with both browsers.
