So, I have uploaded 3 screenshots of the same page in the row. The first image
is of this revision:
https://cs.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?title=Ital%C5%A1tina/Materi%C3%A1ly/Slovesa/Lavare&oldid=50147

Here I just change upright parameter to 0.5. Other revisions are equal to other
screenshots (upright 1 and upright 1.75) - you can see there is no change in
image size (thats what is this bug about). See in history of the page.

Steps to reproduce (FF 30.0, Windows Vista, mediawiki skin Vector):
1) open cs:v:Italština/Materiály/Slovesa/Lavare
2) set upright value and save
3) set uprght to whatever different value and save

You should not see a difference in image size.

A related consideration: while article.getProcessedHtml requires space (or the
article start/end) before and after the title, in some languages there may
correctly be no spaces *or* punctuation between the title and subsequent text.

For example, in http://zh.wikifur.com/wiki/Rei the title is followed
immediately by another character, and many of the links below follow the same
pattern. This is common on zh.wikipedia.org as well.

Cool! If you do make changes, it might also be worth revisiting the name of the
function and the accompanying comment, since what is being removed is not what
I'd call brackets - [] or {} - but parentheses - () - and also their content.

I know (...now, per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bracket ) that parentheses
are technically a type of bracket, but in that case I would expect other
brackets to be affected as well. Perhaps something like
removeParenthesizedContent()?

(Another possibility is that other types of brackets should be removed, but
that'd be an entirely separate bug.)

Yes, we are running on the current HEAD.

That commit removed parentheses and the material within them. It left the space
immediately before the parentheses when the parentheses was followed by
punctuation, such as a comma or full stop. (This was not handled by the regexp
that was replaced, either.)

The line:
extract = extract.replace(/\s+/g, ' '); // Remove extra white spaces 
will only replace two or more spaces with one. It does not remove the single
space between "Vappu" and "," in the example above.

Is uploadwizard really the appropriate component here? I would think this is a
more general new extension request (?)

In the near future, it would probably be faster for someone to put a copy on
tool labs (src is at https://svn.toolserver.org/svnroot/luxo/derivativeFX/ ),
as rewriting it to be part of MediaWiki would probably take quite a bit of
time.

jQuery Tooltip (included in Cite), uses jQuery.browser, which is deprecated. 
It only works due to jQuery Migrate, which will be removed as well.

This plugin is apparently kind of deprecated
(http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-tooltip/ recommends moving
to jQuery UI tooltip).
