It feels like you just don't want to get it through. Anyway, if those monuments stay in the DB, it may lead to copyright violations. There was not a request about tagging monuments in DB, there was a request not to include some monuments in DB. A possible workaround is to remove them temporarily from the database, a nicer way would be to add an extra field 'copyright status' or something, and not to display those monuments in the tools.
