--- Comment #3 from Gryllida gryll...@fastmail.fm ---
Every modern browser allows that.
Firefox: javascript.enabled in about:config
Google Chrome:
https://productforums.google.com/d/msg/chrome/BYOQskiuGU0/5PRO2P-1WWwJ
Internet Explorer:
http://browsers.about.com/od/internetexplorertutorials/ss/disable-javascript-ie9.htm
Anywhere, anytime: NoScript, AdBlockPlus
Less stupid use-case: crappy or mobile Internet, JavaScript simply didn't load
yet.
Past background:
- Bug 71038 is being fixed. (Scribunto should show script error details to
JavaScriptless users)
- Bug 69778 is confirmed. (BetaFeatures looks ugly with JavaScript disabled)
- Bug 57895 is confirmed. (Flow: Without javascript, there are no cancel or
preview buttons for creating or editing content)
- Bug 66269 is confirmed. (Make a version of book navigation that works without
javascript )
- Bug 53454 is confirmed. (Make working TOC without JavaScript on the mobile
frontend.)
- ...

There should be a tag, or a tracking bug, for such things, I hope.
